Tomorrow

5am, outside, so dark.
The pain, attained, so sharp.
Night after night, calling out.
Time after time, no sound comes out.

Fearing your prime,
Time aligns and divides.
Embracing tomorrow,
Tomorrow never dies.

Time’s design, decides,
If we're lancing all the sores,
Or causing many more, inside...
Who will we cut, tomorrow?
What else will we lose?

It is fine.
We'll fix it,
When we have time.
We pretend so…
We'll send a signed note.
We'll send them all flowers,
We’ll say sorry, when it's done, when we are dust.
Now, now...no, no.

We start the wars;
To shut them out.
We seem doomed to repeat the same mistake...

9am, inside, so stark.
The guilt, overfilled, so fast.
Night after night, I open up.
Time after time, shutting up.

One crime, to put off talking.
One crime, to shut the door, we must, trust that,
We can never mend;
We can never mend the past.

No time, to feel regretful.
No time, to blind us with the past, we must -
try to rebuild the bridges;
try to rebuild the bridges, now. No more tomorrow...
