Far, Far Away

I built up a sailing ship,
to send my Lego brethren into the sunset.
But it sunk right in front of me,
sending angel’s sins to the abyss.

So I fashioned a racing car with remote control,
to drive me back to the future.
But my battery’s running flat, no self-control.
So I’m stuck in the past.

True I lied to you
Over and over again…
Said my head was here
But really it’s far, far away…

I inflated a lead balloon,
to carry my head up to the clouds.
But it wouldn’t get off the ground.
With the weight of the world, it’s too heavy to fly.

True I lied to you
Over and over again…
Said my head was here
But really it’s far, far away…

Now I’m building a rocket ship,
to blast my last creation, up to the stars.
Anywhere’s better than here,
so use the extra fuel and point me at the sky.

True I lied to you
Over and over again…
Said my head was here
But really it’s far, far away…
