Requiem

I didn’t come in here to grieve,
But I had no choice but to leave,
The laughing social mix behind me.

I stand here naked, blessed with tears.
The isolation, dressed in fear,
With blackened robes and scythes as side arms.

And every single night’s the same.
Is dona mea requiem.

Suspecting I’m not welcome here
The suffocating atmosphere.
Sucks the life out of the laughter.
And every single night’s the same.
Is dona mea requiem.
